• estimate of annual sediment transport into the reservoir;
• description of the methodologies to extract and remove sediments and esteem the time necessary to re-establish the reservoir storage capacity;
• report about bottom discharge and planning possible solutions for its complete re-establishment, case of bad working;


• description of the best way to empty the reservoir and to evacuate the sediments into the river below the dam, respecting the limits of sediment concentration defined by the law in force and reported into the plan;
• description of the best way to operate the discharge mechanisms, with particular attention to periodical drainages, necessaries to guarantee its correct working;
• administrative assistance and care of all the procedures for the preventive opinion of the Italian Register of Dams and for the approval of the project by the competent Regional Administration.
