The experience of last three years in high training activities has reinforced the role of Centro ISIDE as a reference pole for the scientific and technical formation in the field of environmental monitoring. During the last few years it has managed considerable finances allocated by MIUR (Italian Ministry of University and Research) in the development of training plans opportunely linked to research activities.

Training activities of GES.TU.R.I. master have supplied to young students the necessary competences for the safeguard and the management either of superficial and underground water resources. During AQUATEC project, scientific and technical graduated have had the opportunity to acquire high specialist competences in the field of monitoring and management of water resources at drainage basin scale. T.E.C.S.A.S. project has instead formed young students about the installation and the maintenance of automatic monitoring systems.

The importance of research activity, the patrimony of know-how acquired and the experience matured in various plans, make Centro ISIDE the ideal subject for high training in environmental field. The services regard all the aspects in the process of planning and realization of a formative product. The offer evolves at the same time to programmed research topics and regards:

• Basic courses. Are mainly made for technicians operating in environmental field in order to supply concrete instruments for their working activities.
• E-learning courses. Planning of innovative e-learning systems for computer-enhanced learning.
• Stages. Beyond the technical formation in classroom, it's possible to make stages in companies and organizations with high specialized technicians.
• Seminaries and conferences. The organization of scientific encounter allows to debate about the topics today most important in the environmental field.
• Workshop and symposia. Centro ISIDE periodically proposes encounter with experts of international reputation in order to supply refresher through the exchange of information and the learning of advanced techniques.
• Training advising. Advising services in order to planning, realizing and managing ad hoc training courses.
